I think that you actually know better, Bug. The IBT and Locals are required to file LM-2's because they are subject to the LMRDA. TDU is not subject to the LMRDA and not required to file an LM-2. Pretty simple. And "above board"? C'mon. There are an awful lot of above board organizations out there that are not subject to the LMRDA. The Boy Scouts of America comes to mind. How about the Real Teamsters Caucus from the mid 90's? Would you have them file an LM-2? That would have been interesting! The goal of their organization, which they made no secret about, was to "go after Carey's jugular"! But...they were not subject to the LMRDA. You can wait "with bated breath" as long as you want. Until the DOL amends the requirements, organizations not subject to the LMRDA are not going to be required to file LM-2's just because Bug doesn't like them.

I would agree if this was 1910. Seeing that the socialistic ideology was for all trade unionist called Pan-American Tradesman making the same which was about $70 a week. However, we are the highest paid in our industry. So if you want to toss in about 13 bucks per hour and pay a huge health care premium so everyone can be on a level playing field, Socialism is for you.
