For what it is worth I had called in twice earlier this year and voiced my support for Hoffa over Fred, and they allowed me to state my side as they stated their side in a very civil manner

I would love to.
In the end, I think we would all be surprised on how much we agree on.

I would much rather talk to him over a beer or two.
He obviously has a wealth of knowledge, and to listen and engage, makes us wiser.

Between my country twang ,and their New York accents I was kind of suprised we could understand each other. But we did have a common ground in a deep appreciation of our brotherhood in the Teamsters. To often on here I feel that we forget that in our zeal defend our support for either the TDU or old gaurd

I agree with bug. They could inform the members of the issues of ups at that moment. Like forcing people back to work on taw when injured on the job. They have a right to see their own doctor and not have mgt coerce the doctor to give them light duty. That would be informative to the members. Whether TS is cleaning bathrooms at ups instead of being GST? Not so much.

Corruption is relative. I've always said that we were the strongest union when we were the most corrupt. As for what's to come? I just relized no matter what happens, things are lining up better than I expected.
