That's because you guys are already slow and lazy. They don't need to pretend to tell you to slowdown and work safe.

Hell I can't remember the last feeder cab I looked into that didn't have a pillow and blanket on the passenger seat.
There are a couple guys that carry sleeping bags( we're not talking sleeper's either). You roll into that bag and get comfortable and some dudes aren't waking up no matter how many alarms they set. We've had drivers miss sorts because they pull over to take a 20 minute "Power Nap" and finslly wake up 5 hours later.

There are a few feeders that still have that package mentality...unfortunately some fk up enough times where they finally learn to slow down or they get terminated and the union has to fight for their job. Most eventually learn but it can be a tough painful road for them.

I feel like the only thing they care about in feeders is their almighty pull times...I've seen them sweep lots of other things under the rug and they are just happy people are answering their phones when dispatch tries calling.
Talked to one of my feeder buddies yesterday and he says they are pushing the 15-30-15 meal hard.

Happens in delivery also. A friend (back when we actually needed signatures) had a package way out in the sticks. Nobody was home and he knew the kids would be along in about 10 minutes on the school bus so he decided to wait for them. He fell asleep not knowing that the kids stayed after school for something and rode home with the parents when they got off work at 6:00. He had about a 3 hour nap.
