The idea of media bias against republicans, is the first big lie they told and made stick.
republicans are at every national newspaper. republicans speak on every political show as guests and hosts, republican politicians are invited to write and speak on tv and the newspapers.
Yet, they believe that everyone is out to get them. The reporters, the editors, the college professors, the tv hosts, scientists, Hollywood, actors, singers, directors, writers, The tech industry wants to censor them, universities hate them, and this is accepted reality amongst republicans and many others.
If actual marginalized groups believed this nonsense, they'd be called crazy. Yet one of the two major American political parties despite it's power and access believes these things.
republicans are not marginalized within American society not by a long shot.

With the head of the IRS office in Cincinnati, which was responsible for this, in constant contact with the White House, and taking the 5th before Congress. Joy Behar went on to spread this "fake" news on the View where all 3 viewers heard it. (She was giddy!) Also, the stock market fell with this fake news.......that's bound to make investors mad. Also it overshadowed the news that the senate passed the tax bill. She read Ross's statement on National TV........you can't delete that. She even did a "Yahoo" yell like that presidential candidate did way back when.(Howard Dean)
