Funny, it's usually conservatives who complain about their stuff being censored. I wasn't getting updates from any of the groups I was part of for a while, political or not. I just wanted tips on increasing yields from my garden, but Marky Z and Big Brother were working together to supress that information.
I think it takes into account when people select "see less of this", or however they're doing it this week, so if you want to continue to gain more followers, you need to appeal to a wider audience. But some people don't want to change their message, and will get the followers they get.
