Let's be clear. Parents who are prosecuted for felonies go to prison and their children are put into the system, same as American citizens. Parents who have come over the first time, which is a misdemeanor, are separated only long enough to appear before a judge, and that's if their kids are old enough. And of course all of that's changed now.
