More On Obama: Where He Gets His Money?

Could it be that there has been twice as many false allegations and bogus e-mails spread by a desperate political faction at demonizing a certain presidential candidate?
Not really, I noticed the trend before Obama began, but it has escalated. My point was, Snopes ,seemingly accepts a simple denial from
any TDorH from the left, but requires hard proof from the right. I want the same standards to be applied both ways.

hmmmm, not right off the top of my head and frankly I don't have the time or energy to go back and look for the certain issues that made be feel this way. This is not something that just popped up one day, but a long drawn out process.

Rather than throw out useless claims on where OBAMA gets his money, why not check the official source?
I don't think anyone was questioning where BO's campaign contributions for this election come from on this OP. What they were questioning was were did the money come from for his education, his Senate race and his million and a half dollar home, all the traveling and up keep while traveling and not working. The schools he attended are not cheap, traveling with no income, and his Senate race are no cheap either.

TRP, the record is clear on his education.

Up till two years ago, he was $200,000.00 in debt in Gov. student loans. It wasnt until his second book was published and hes was paid that both his and micheles student loans were paid off in full.

You can put those rumors to rest. NO ONE paid for his education other than the taxpayers.. That means you and I both funded his education.

I wish you all would leave the nonsense alone and focus on real issues.

Ah I wish you guys would stop digging into his murky background and instead listen to his campaign promises most of which he will not keep. :happy-very:

Why is Obama keeping his college years a secret? "Don't worry about that think about Obama bringing you change." What kind of change? "Ah were not sure yet we'll get back to ya on that."

why is Obama buddies with a big time mobster in chicago. whats with that sweetheart real estate deal? "You know Obama really wants change."

What change did Obama bring in congress? "Oh ah don't worry about that Obama will bring lots of change when he becomes president."

Why did Obama vote present 142 times while in congress. "Ah don't worry about that attend one of my rock star rallies tonight instead."

You bleeding heart kiss buts are running a smoke and mirrors campaign. "Oh don't look over there look over here instead."

Funny how spin works. Lets take a look at McCains honorable congressional record for the year.

McCain Leads! (In Missed Votes)

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) didn't find time in his busy campaign schedule Thursday to make it back to the Capitol for votes on money for Iraq and Afghanistan as well as new educational benefits for veterans that he opposes. After all, even though he has been quite outspoken on the new GI Bill and even pushed a competing bill of his own, he still has to, um, win the Republican nomination (isn't Ron Paul still running??). And, apparently, he had to campaign and raise money in that pivotal swing state, California.
McCain's absence helped cement his lead in one key category over his potential Democratic opponents and every other Senator -- missed votes.
Through last week, McCain had missed a nice, round 60.0 percent of Senate votes so far in the 110th Congress. After Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.), who was absent for several months following a brain hemorrhage, comes Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), who lay well behind McCain with 41.8 percent of votes missed. Sen. Joseph Biden (D-Del.), a former presidential candidate, was fourth, followed by Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), who had missed 31.7 percent.
Obama and Clinton both managed to make it to the Capitol Thursday to vote for the war money and the new GI Bill. Obama and McCain skipped the vote Thursday on overriding President Bush's veto of the Farm Bill (even though McCain really, really dislikes the Farm Bill), while Clinton voted nay.

Ah your point must be that McCain is not responsible for the current mess since he is never there to vote for anything?

Touche!!!!

If McCain does not get in - it will cost us big both in National Security and our economy... However, there is a silver lining.... We will be able to bash all these NObama supporters as everything falls apart.

Their leader will no doubt be blaming Bush for all his problems.... This is the true mark of a leader! (Yeah right!) LOL

Just like the idiot in New Orleans who continues to blame the federal government for New Orleans problems.

You want liberalism.... you will have it.... and you will PAY for it dearly!!!

You smell that?
gee whiz vol looks like there are some other people here that have noticed the same thing.

Probably the same people that think Fox News is actually fair and balanced.

I asked for proof and I got conjecture, opinion and feelings. I really didn't expect anything less.

Excerpt from Chas. Krauthammer.........

The case for McCain is straightforward. The financial crisis has made us forget, or just blindly deny, how dangerous the world out there is. We have a generations-long struggle with Islamic jihadism. An apocalyptic soon-to-be-nuclear Iran. A nuclear-armed Pakistan in danger of fragmentation. A rising Russia pushing the limits of revanchism. Plus the sure-to-come Falklands-like surprise popping out of nowhere.

Who do you want answering that phone at 3 a.m.? A man who's been cramming on these issues for the past year, who's never had to make an executive decision affecting so much as a city, let alone the world? A foreign policy novice instinctively inclined to the flabbiest, most vaporous multilateralism (e.g., the Berlin Wall came down because of "a world that stands as one"), and who refers to the most deliberate act of war since Pearl Harbor as "the tragedy of 9/11," a term more appropriate for a bus accident?

Or do you want a man who is the most prepared, most knowledgeable, most serious foreign policy thinker in the United States Senate? A man who not only has the best instincts but has the honor and the courage to, yes, put country first, as when he carried the lonely fight for the surge that turned Iraq from catastrophic defeat into achievable strategic victory?

There's just no comparison. Obama's own running mate warned this week that Obama's youth and inexperience will invite a crisis — indeed a crisis "generated" precisely to test him. Can you be serious about national security and vote on Nov. 4 to invite that test?

Notice to All Employees

As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama is officially elected into office, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:

1.
All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are underachieving a "fair shake."

2.All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves. This will help those who are "too busy for overtime" to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.

3.All top management will now be referred to as "the government." We will not participate in this "pooling" experience because the law doesn't apply to us.

4.The "government" will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging it's workers to continue to work hard "for the good of all."

5.The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it's "good to spread the wealth." Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more "patriotic."

6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don't feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free foodstamps, and he'll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can't pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our democratic congress, you might even get a free flatscreen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn't all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?) !!!

If for any reason you are not happy with the new policies, you may want to rethink your vote on November 4th.
