That crap is nasty.
Scrapple is typically made of hog offal, such as the head, heart, liver, and other trimmings, which are boiled with any bones attached (often the entire head), to make a broth. Once cooked, bones and fat are removed, the meat is reserved, and (dry) cornmeal is boiled in the broth to make a mush. The meat, finely minced, is returned to the pot and seasonings, typically sage, thyme, savory, black pepper, and others are added. The mush is formed into loaves and allowed to cool thoroughly until set. The proportions and seasoning are very much a matter of the region and the cook's taste. That crap is nasty.

Pass.
My wife and daughter's eat them all of the time. Just don't force it on me. Anything that looks that bad going down, has to look worse coming out.I'm not an avocado lover either!
That's because the grow lime Dandelion's over there. They just want to get rid of them. When we first moved to California, we went to b-fast and had eggs and bacon......the plate came with sliced avocados over the top. I didn't order them.....they just used them for decoration, like parsley. Ewwwww!!
