She was prob off turning a trick. I think the 911 caller said the mom was there at one point.
The whole video shows alot of surveillance footage of the stepdad and kid walking around, looking for a car to steal. Was kinda hard to watch. The kid will most likely end up a scumbag as well.
Lets be nice to the kid. He had to witness this and at his age he's an innocent child.

Youre right. I truly hope that kid can overcome his upbringing. Unfortunately for the kid, his mom is garbage. His stepfather, prob his main role model, was garbage. He was clearly already conditioned to crime at 7 years old. The way he follows his stepfather around in the video made me think of an abused dog. Very sad situation. Like i said, hard to watch. I feel for the kid, but lets be real, the odds are not on his side.
I see little black kids running around in tough neighborhoods. Many of them are going to grow into mean S.O.B.'s someday who may make the news for the wrong reason. But until then they're just little kids.

Ever been to a Department of Youth Services (DYS) facility? I have seen little kids in there that are murderers. Looked about 10 yrs old and shackled together.
That breaks you down. No one wants to look at that and contemplate their future...if they get one.
No, but kids in that situation are the exception, not the rule.

You can say the same thing about any person put into jail or prison vs the general population per capita. That makes it all better? The court system is much less likely to sentence a child to prison vs the adults being sentenced in court. And how many mass shootings at schools were by "little black kids"?? Keep skin color out of it. There's a lot of white kids who turned into mean ""SOBs" where ii grew up. SMH
In the USA, thru 2020, about 2000 children are arrested every day, 728,280 total were arrested in 2018...one every 43 seconds. According to statistics they commit suicide in prison at a much greater rate than adults.
The exception is still huge and the pebble thrown into the pond makes a small splash but the ripple effect goes out quite a ways.
Would 2000 a day include all under 18? When we're talking past puberty that's a whole other situation. Doubt too many 7 year olds get arrested but probably happens. I really don't care what color they are, prepubescent children are generally innocent.

Most under the age of 17 because multiple states deam 17 yr olds to be adults. I just read an article about a six yr old girl being cuffed at school and taken away. This is a very sad issue and having a step dad like this one is not rare. Think about what it would be like if it was you. The emotional destruction for these kids is unreal.
A nurse on my route worked with sexually abused young children. She said most of them had committed suicide already.

Prepubescent kids are one thing but that changes when puberty hits. There are plenty of bad kids in junior high schools. I have seen cops hauling kids that age out of school on felony warrants.

It all depends on their environment. Some rough neighborhoods still have really wonderful people living there and many raise their grandkids ... thank God.
There are many more horror stories and I've been there and read the reports. A dad got out of prison in my old bid area, came home to his (I believe)10 yr old son's birthday party. He got mad about something, beat his son to death with a pipe wrench, and maimed the neighbor boy who was with his son.
Watching the news, we no longer have to blame child violence on video games. It's live and coming to a home/school/church near you.
And this country no longer has a moral compass. The government discarded it a long time ago.
OK, you just told me what a grown adult did. I've been saying little kids are innocent. Now if you told the son and his friend beat the dad to death that would prove your point.
