Correlated to the portion of hours they work?

I totally agree.
But, UPS will never pay $40/hr to a part time car washer in this contract. The solution? Get rid of all the red circled drivers pay rate and bring them down to what everybody else doing the same job is making....

I will say this...UPS has put fans in all our package cars, even the ones that are a strut away from being crushed. The new trucks are coming with two, and the six cubes all have those spinners up top which do vent some air.
Also, we are getting like 10 industrial box fans installed at our center to improve sure flow.im sure they'll just be blowing dusty air onto your face after a week, but it's something.
The ol UPS management distraction of AC in pkg cars! Every single contract UPS throws this out to distract from real issues.
If one of those fans is keeping you alive, you’re in trouble. Lol Stay focused on real issues. AC is a company distraction. They do it every contract……have you seen AC in pkg cars? Case closed!

I don't think it can be labeled a distraction when we have drivers falling out every year from heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
