After lots of analysis and complicated mathematical equations studying the algorithm, it appears I found a solution to all of this…..

Come to work on time don’t violate your attendance policy you lazy bastards.

I’m as shocked as everyone else, but apparently this works! Who knew?

I've mentioned this brother before, young guy in our center that clearly has an alcohol problem. Anyways, he came in for preload on Thursday, loaded his truck then asked ORS if someone else could do his route, wasn't feeling well (red flag!). Friday he calls in. Center Manager calls from sister building (I'm in the office talking about another issue) and proceeds to explain the displeasure they have with said driver. They hang up, 3 minutes later someone from our regional office calls and says they want this drivers bid route sheet sent to them.
Wtf is up with that? Coincidence?

Then, if no one is really paying attention :-)censored:ty Stewards) they stack grievances under the guise of "failure to follow the methods" and the driver finds himself with three totally unrelated.

I think that's the jest of it...attendance is about the easiest red flag, and then they dig. Not taking your contractual length lunch, missed time commits, telematics reviews leading to increased observations. They'll find something.
That's bottom lineIf you're doing it's supposed to, do, you'll have anything more about it.

Some of these guys are absolutely unbelievable

Nipped that in the bud years ago. Warning letters for generic failure to follow the method gets thrown out on a regular basis.

@DRAGON II seems like he’s a little more old-school and probably could do a good job of putting in a case together if he really wants to terminate a poor employee.

Must’ve the management like him are long gone. Replaced with feckless yes men who are actually more scared for their own job than anything else.

It’s kind of funny.
Better not bigger also means less management

Throw in some AI dispatching and get rid of some more dead weight...

We are still fat on management. There’s really no need for all these on road supervisors, keep taking your tablet home every night and p.m. dispatching because soon you’ll be going home and sitting on the couch, still doing nothing and no longer employed. Carol is watching.

My concern right now is many locals have sitting arbitrator now. If you take an attendance case with multiple intent to terms connected to it, the sitting arbitrator is going to rule by the contract.
