Mitch McConnell is why. If he controls the Senate he won’t bring any Biden appointed judges up for confirmation. I’ll be surprised if he allows cabinet confirmation votes. There’s no way he works to get something done with a Democratic House and White House. He’ll burn the country to the ground to advance his policy preferences.
