Answer this question:
Do you believe that you were morally entitled to your life saving open heart surgery that had to be publicly funded and would not have taken place if you had to pay for it yourself? If so then why in your opinion that a small amount of debt relief which on an individual basis is a small fraction of the cost of your surgery not on the same moral plane as the one you use to entitle yourself to that surgery?
After all the beneficiaries of that small amount of forgiveness are and will continue to pay federal income tax for years to come. Something by your own admission haven't done for years.

Do you think with $31 trillion+ in debt it's right to offer a half trillion dollars to college grads making up to $125k a year? Where do you draw the line? Do you not care that with higher interest rates the government is now spending hundreds of billions more to service the debt? Where does your willingness to spend, spend, spend stop?
Those college grads have many years to go before they catch up to my spending on taxes.
You still skirt the question. Do you think that you were morally entitled to a publicly funded 100K + open heart surgery ? If you believe that you were morally entitled to it then what makes you think that 10K in debt relief is something those people are not morally entitled to?
