Again, the air pollution from cars in the States is at an acceptable level. Considering how we move goods by truck, and commute in cars, and have emergency service vehicles, etc then yes I think Jesus would approve. After all he rode a donkey which I'm 100% sure on the road.

Getting to and from a train station or bus stop, especially in bad weather, is much less efficient than getting into your car at home and out at your destination. And until you start driving a vehicle that's much lighter than your car you have no business telling others what they should drive.
