i work 30 hours a week officially but i have a good job so for example today i probably took 2.5 hours of breaks for 4 hours of work.
im proud of what i accomplished but im going to go to europe to get 60% cheaper housing and 3x more paid vacation

Costs savings in Europe won’t be enough of a motivator for you to move there because you’re already plenty comfortable working part time hours in Canada.

The Spanish girl is probably catfishing you.

Uh huh.

I think you maybe just might be backpedaling just a wee bit.

Its fine if moving to Europe was going to be too difficult for you.
we compared toronto to i think it was madrid or barcelona and the housing to buy was 100% more in TO and wages were 22% higher in TO.

what do you mean? shes from mexico but lived here for 12 years.
Do you speak Spanish? And how are you going to get a long term visa in the EU? You do know that you can stay up to 90 days in a 180 day period in the Schengen zone without a visa, right? Pro tip: The U.K. allows you to stay 6 months without a visa. It's no longer in the EU and isn't in Schengen. You can stay 3 months there and 3 months in Spain alternating between the two every 90 days. You can get a residency visa in Spain but you have to prove you have an income that meets their minimum requirements. You also have to pass an Interpol check. No arrest record. You might be able to get a student visa.

The UK seems like it’s been moving in a bad direction culturally and economically in recent years. NHS included. Wouldn’t feel bad about not having stayed there.

Brexit was an attempt similar to our MAGA to get their country back on course. The EU is pushing "diversity is our strength." Only now many of those countries, like Sweden, are realizing homogeneity, like Japan's, is better for social harmony. The far Left disagrees of course.

100% agree and I think UK citizens wanted Brexit for the right reasons. But it seems like the economic impacts of Brexit haven't been positive and it doesn't seem like things are going great at the NHS.

The majority of OK citizens want Brexit but the globalists keep trying to block it.

yes it is. but theyre still less remote than us, better flyers rights; cheaper flights, probably better food protections, 6 weeks paid vacation by law, 23% Union rate, and dry slopes for year round snowboard jumps, and they got a good life expectancy and high speed trains.

i dont like their political history with thatcher, joining america on the iraq war, finance, or their first past the post political system.

I think the EU may need the UK more than the opposite. I'm hearing Germany is imploding because they invested so heavily in green energy. When their natural gas supply got cut off their wind and solar couldn't keep up.

Saw years ago on "60 Minutes" that the NHS has been recruiting nurses from English speaking countries like South Africa because their attempts to hold costs down meant many decided not to go into nursing because it was paying less. Advocates for a single payer system here don't take that into account. So Ricky can have his social paradise but I don't think he'll be happy with the pay @rickyb

we have single payer and our nurses make $40 something per hour at the government starting assuming 4 years school.
