Yes. Christmas is on a Friday which means we would all have plenty of hours to work on Sunday.
I asked my center manager about it this morning and he also feels that we will be on road that day.
Helped all afternoon after finishing my post offices. 12 cars were still on road at 1800. When I left the building at 1900, only 2-3 cars on road and they were on their way back. We have been working Sundays to stay ahead. Most guys had 170-200 today versus 300+ of last week. We have rolled 0 volume since last week. You should've been a team player and helped some of your loop brothers.
Required for almost all of my center, next sunday (20th) is required for all.I'm on my 27th peak. Never worked a Saturday or a Sunday.
For real. HOS regs limit how many hours you can drive a commercial vehicle, but I've never heard of a law that limits how many hours you can work period.for real, bruh?
Those guys never unplug. They didn't get to where they are by playing 18 holes on a Thursday afternoon. I know my buddy's dad who was CFO of an aerospace company about 1/5th the size of us who would have to leave in the middle of vacations because of work issues. Our leadership is no different.Yeah they might leave the golf course at 4. No way are they in the office past noon
I hear this constantly on here. But two months into access points here and I have yet to have a concern come in on one.The Access Points are ticking alot of customers off.
Most of the customers don't want it.I hear this constantly on here. But two months into access points here and I have yet to have a concern come in on one.
I'm not seeing anything to confirm that they like it or that they hate it. I'm not even kidding when I say not 1 concern has come in on it.Most of the customers don't want it.
The customers I talk to are ticked about it.I'm not seeing anything to confirm that they like it or that they hate it. I'm not even kidding when I say not 1 concern has come in on it.
The only complaints I hear are from drivers ticked because they have more packages to bring to the clerk. The customers I talk to are ticked about it.

Sounds like you're volunteering.
NBC news should interview customers at the UPS facility asking where is the medicine? 91% will be more like 12% one timeNBC News this morning said we're struggling to keep up with volume. That we typically deliver on time 97% of the time, but we're at 91% since start of peak.
Oh I know. Had a friend get divorced over this issue. Those guys never unplug. They didn't get to where they are by playing 18 holes on a Thursday afternoon. One night everything electronic went down in our building. Our servers crashed so we couldn't connect to timecards, do dispatch, upload or download DIADs, do address corrections, even scan a package with a GSS scanner. I ended up on a conference call with the District IT guy, A programmer in India, and the Chief Information officer at 3 AM. Guy was in bed when he was paged in. They may not be doing the physical jobs that you guys do. But they do work.
