NYST offers their retirees an extra $100/month for every year that they stay beyond the 30 years of service, 55 years of age minimums. Absolutely not worth it, especially with the average NYST UPS pension of $5,500/month.

Life expectancy of pensioners decrease its a net positive for the plan. Later you go less money you get especially with life expectancy down.
