We have avenues where the whole center section is planted with jacarandas.........it's beautiful in the Spring.......but what a mess when those blossoms fall off !!

Bush this week joined members of his Secret Service detail in shaving his head to show solidarity for Patrick,
who is the son of one of the agents.

The young boy is undergoing treatment for leukeamia and is losing his hair as a result.

How did the praying mantis cross the pond?

On the back of a frog!

This clever insect didn't fancy getting its feet wet, so it jumped on top of a frog, who then obliged by
wading across photographer Nordin Seruvan's shallow pond in his back garden in Borneo, Indonesia

The creature even appeared to point the way as the unusual duo made their way across the water.

According to the photographer, the pond crossing took 10 minutes, with the frog depositing the
mantis safely on the other side.
