my building had a good 3-4 seasonal job options posted a few months back. First time I had seen it all lumped together.
Seasonal support driver
Double shifting (within our air gateway building)
Package car driver
Driver helper

I didn’t realize inside union workers could be used as seasonal package car driving. Not even sure how that would work considering many work preload hours or evenings. One couldn’t feasibly do both.

About 50 people signed up for a variety of jobs. No one’s been called yet. Our volume is down. Not sure when if ever it’ll pick back up.

Air drivers in my building would rather drive a rental at top ground rate then volunteer to be a PVD. $2500/wk vs being a PVD.

Personally, I agree, but for whatever reason the sign-up list was full from inside people wanted to do this I really have no idea why.
