Good to see som common sense people still work here. This is the kind of stuff that make me dumbfounded. Making a place a gun free area is just telling crazy people "Come in here. We can't fight back".

please don’t stand next to me when the bullets start flying......I don’t want one that is meant for youThis "mentality" is caused by drivers who will not accept promotion into management.
Maybe he was fired for not following the Orion initiative 85 percent metricYep, I see UPS not firing driver's who steal packages from the customer while on the job.
Goobers! LOL
...............wow............guess you have inside infoYep, I see UPS not firing driver's who steal packages from the customer while on the job.
Goobers! LOL
Once again....It’s the drivers fault........I never would have guessed you were in managementThis "mentality" is caused by drivers who will not accept promotion into management.

you called a man who killed himself and 2 sups goobers.........wow...............wow............guess you have inside info

guess he retired TOO soonArguing about why this happened and who's to blame doesn't change the fact that 3 people are dead.
.another great jokeTheir replacements will be hired off the street so probably no effect.
I don't disagree with anyone not going into management."Promotions" elsewhere usually come with some sort of benefit. Promotion into management here results in a lower per hour salary and loss of good benefits.
Any driver that accepts a promotion into management is either a maroon or a non-hacker. It's the most nonsensical thing anyone in our position could do from a career standpoint.
Hell, even Upstate didn't go management.
true....just don’t want it to be more......unless problems are addressed more horrific things will follow.....when does the company become complicit in their negligence of our safety?Arguing about why this happened and who's to blame doesn't change the fact that 3 people are dead.
Nope ... not early enough.guess he retired TOO soon
I would suggest standing behind me ... they'll never see you.please don’t stand next to me when the bullets start flying......I don’t want one that is meant for you
Nope ... not early enough.
Retire the first chance you get.
Nope NO confusion here....you were management...you think because you say it,,,it MUST be true.....Perfect example of the take it or leave it mindset.....guess the shooter didn’t take itI don't disagree with anyone not going into management.
Option3 seemed a bit confused so I was explaining it to him/her ... probably a him.
The post office had to go through several shootings for about 5 years straight till they changed the work enivorment cultural . I've not heard of postal shooting in a decade. IMO another/more UPS shooting will happen. UPS has several hundred thousand employees. Their a few hundred crazy mentally unstable ticking time bombs.well hopefully, management's "bullying" mentality will let up
I sure as heck would never let an ex- manager stand BEHIND meI would suggest standing behind me ... they'll never see you.
UpState changed his username?why the eff would you continue to waste time in something you retired from??? makes no sense
