Since then, Democrats and the media have made sure the public knows that immigrant detention centers are filling up fast with no end in sight. And the Democratic answer is......don’t secure the border and let ‘em on in? It’s not clear to me.

Honestly I think he’s right in pushing safe 3rd country agreements, we need one with Mexico. Castro is proposing the best plan of rebuilding Central America so people don’t need to flee their home countries. Acting “tough” doesn’t do much. NAFTA all but fixed the issue with Mexican illegal crossings because Mexicans could stay home and have jobs. A similar deal with Central and South America could make everyone wealthier.
