You asking us or Republicans in general? Of course we don't want him impeached, but if you insist then bring it on. I think the worry is over the lineup of anonymous "whistleblowers" the Dems will conjure up. Frankly the Dems will stop at nothing to get rid of Trump. It's the Kavanaugh hearing all over again. And the Dems are concerned about how impending reports will make them look.
Stop at nothing? They intend to be elected. Impeachment is one huge political ad starring the president himself. Both sides will spin it.
When it comes out what lengths the Dems, and some Republicans, went to to get Trump removed, don't you think this impeachment attempt is going to look like more of the same? The whistleblower made a bunch of claims about quid pro quo and Trump repeating over and over that he expected dirt on Biden for the military aid. Trump released the transcript, which clearly Schiff and company weren't expecting, and blew that out of the water. And it has come out that Schiff and the whistleblowers had been talking before the Schiff hit the fan, and Schiff lied, saying they hadn't communicated. So go ahead and impeach, get all of this out there for the public. All it takes is enough independents in the right States to get Trump reelected.

Not at all. The transcript clearly showed that the whistleblower lied, and there still was an attempt to twist what Trump said. Pelosi even said there doesn't need to be a quid pro quo after saying there was an attempted quid pro quo before the transcript was released. Why would Trump himself to any of this? But he did say there must be a House vote first. Why doesn't Pelosi want a vote? Because it'll expose vulnerable Dems in 2020 in districts Trump eon. It is, after all, politics.
