Yep. If I don't see @rickyb post on any given day I worry that he might have been dragged off to jail by the Canadian government after it deemed something he said to be "obscene."

no i dont think so, i would guess we are less repressive than the US govt.
ive protested in the streets, call trudeau a sell out on twitter, whatever. ive never been arrested for protesting.
the worst treatment ive had by govt is US border patrol and theres plenty of new articles about them now because of donald trump.
i think people have to understand that hte people who own most of hte capital would prefer a repressive police state like china vs a more democratic society.
