Towns and neighborhoods that have a strong police forces see their insurance rates go down, since the crime rates stay low.
Removing police forces will cost more than just a few extra dollars, most likely you'll see your neighbors moving away to some place that is safer to live.
And you will see your properties value decrease to the point where just giving away your home is cheaper than selling it.
