While I agree that trump has a strong cult following it only amounts to around 33% of voters at best. As an Independent voter I don't see how he could win as dog catcher.

Almost all "independents" vote the same way every election. The truth is they suffer from complete self delusion and just want to believe they are independent thinkers. They're just sheep and don't know it.

thats a bit selective in the fake news genre. Chris did agree the last 5 questions were somewhat difficult. Those would have been impossible for biden to complete.

very few are. they like to call themselves independent but in the end the chickens come home to roost. conservative go conservative , libs go dem. a few single or near single issue voters. a few that identify with some of the lesser parties to show their superiority in thought.
but most will probably lean left or right . Independent for them a misnomer

H'mmm! Might be some truth to that ... I'm an Independent and I vote the same almost every election.
Libertarian or Third Party if available and a smattering of Repugs and DemWits based on my knowledge of the candidates.
I haven't voted for a Repug or DemWit for Governor or President in almost 40 years until a couple years ago.
I voted for the Repug for Governor of Georgia in 2018 because his (Brian Kemp) opposition was a hard-core Socialist (Stacey Abrams).
Surprisingly, Kemp has turned out to be a pretty sharp governor so far.
He definitely is not controlled by Trump.
