How the hell would you know? Maris definitely no where close. If Mantle lived May's lifestyle and went about his job like May's did, barring injuries there would be no comparison. I think you know nothing of either.Neither was as talented as Mays.
Why, because Mantle was the fastest player in baseball? Home to first, fastest time. I call that God given talent. Power? Check out Mantle's 565 ft homer in Washington at Griffith Stadium. Strength (power) and speed, two tools out of five to Mantle. I'll quit, I went back to being a kid, same arguments. Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays are probably the two best baseball players that ever crossed the white lines. Willie Mays finished the journey, an amazing career. Mantle high jacked his career in the late fifties and early sixties with drunken enjoyment?. I respect Willie Mays immensely and honor him and his career. The Mick, I love him and wonder what if. Boyhood thing that doesn't die. Sorry Mak, wasn't pickin on your post. Sey Hey Kid was amazing baseball player. We'll just have to agree Hank Aaron couldn't carry either's jock. @makNeither was as talented as Mays.
Didn't he play ball in high school?View attachment 185603 I'm through with baseball, back to Trump... not a bad approach, very tight, can attack an inside pitchView attachment 185603
Not sure, not a bad approach for a 70 something. Golf swing and baseball swing closely aligned, not sure if you've done either, not a cut merely an observation.Didn't he play ball in high school?
And the president is at the center of it all.Nothing is soon enough in the cesspools of Washington and Current Events.

Didn't have the bone spurs yet?Didn't he play ball in high school?
They must come as quickly as they go, must be hard on him.Didn't have the bone spurs yet?
