It's the same "give him time, he's still learning the job" narrative. The problem with that is the 100 day mark matters. The house will be in full campaign mode very shortly, right now they are in full donation solicitation mode. The time to pass big legislation has passed. Maybe they'll vote for "tax reform" that takes $1 trillion out of Medicaid, but that doesn't sound like good electoral politics. More likely they'll promise to do that while collecting money and then retreat again.

Any time this president is criticized, he deflects by making the same claim about others, whether it's true or not. I see this behavior in my ten-year-old and seven-year-old.
