Trump is the last Populist prez since Teddy Rough Rider.
I guess Trump does have something in common with the last three populist presidential candidates.
John Edwards, Pat Buchanan, and George Wallace. An adulterer, a psychopath, and a racist.... Hey he is like all three rolled into one. No wonder he won

Repugs-4 Dims-0
Special elections to replace Trump cabinet and Department appointees.

Price won this seat with 62% of vote in Nov 2016.
Trump won with 1% in Nov 2016
So what do you think the outcome will be if the Supreme Court decides in the fall that political gerrymandering is unconstitutional?

They've ruled racial gerrymandering is unconstitutional, so there is precedence
Honestly, I have not paid much attention to this issue.
It appears there are a couple (or more) lawsuits alleging that the Repug controlled Georgia legislature did indeed use race as a factor that had negative effects on AA getting to elect someone of their choosing.

Those two districts were redrawn with one goal, Clarke said: “Reduce the ability of African-American and other minority voters to elect candidates of their choice.”

Bill Custer, a partner at Bryan Cave law firm in Atlanta, who is helping bring the suit, said, “we need to, and are able to, prove that race was used as the predominant factor for drawing the district lines.”

Makes sense to me.
Which branch of government will determine the Congressional District boundaries?
State houses, same as it does now. Whole reason the Democrats have an uphill battle to take back the House of Representatives because they have ignored State House races while conversely the Republicans focused on those.

The Democrats have been guilty of the same thing. I believe there's a lawsuit in Maryland alleging the Democrats had redrawn districts based solely on political affiliation

Repugs do seem to understand and execute on laws and rules.
Democrats seem hell bent on shooting themselves in the foot. Can not believe they kept Nancy Pelosi the Democratic leader in the House of Representatives, worst idea ever. The Republicans hung her like an albatross on the Democratic candidate down in Georgia.

That must be true as all the pundits down here are saying that too.

I've never noticed that albatross are hung.

It's been pouring down rain all day, so it was hard to copy names off headstones and the vote was off.

Maybe Pajama Boy can move to San Francisco and get a job with his buddies. Thank goodness we won't see any more campaign commercials.

Rachel Maddow tried to blame it on the rain.

Voter suppression!
