I could count on two hands the number of times I have called in over 42 years. I would not be alone.Ain't nobody not calling out for 9 months !!
Your generation must not have had FEELINGS! Our cross to bear, i guess.I could count on two hands the number of times I have called in over 42 years. I would not be alone.
That’s the beauty of being in the unionI don't care what anyone says, calling out is one of life's greatest pleasures.
Have you told me how hard you guys had it back then ?I could count on two hands the number of times I have called in over 42 years. I would not be alone.
When I was on preload, another guy and I both went 1 year without being late or calling in and I missed a 2nd year, when I got the flu and was off for 3 days. It is really not that hard to do.Ain't nobody not calling out for 9 months !!
I've always said the person who doesn't use all their sick days is a dum dum. When I was on preload, another guy and I both went 1 year without being late or calling in and I missed a 2nd year, when I got the flu and was off for 3 days. It is really not that hard to do.

We do not have sick days. We have 2 option days, but those have to be put in 48 hours before the day off.I've always said the person who doesn't use all their sick days is a dum dum.
Just got a 1 day suspension for attendance. Never had a NCNS, just excessive sick days over the last 10 months. I had a verbal warning and write up and then was told I was suspended for 1 day for the write up (same occurrence). What comes next? Instant termination? How long before the write up or suspension “drops off”? Do warnings and suspensions stay forever or so they reset at some point?
Have I mentioned I worked the first 17 years without calling in sick? Back they we acted like men.
I have NEVER called in.
I will show up, and work at a very safe pace before I ever think of calling in. I take pride in showing up, and in off lol.
Or a Tootsie Pop?I've always said the person who doesn't use all their sick days is a dum dum.
With a weight limit of 25lbs, sissymaryHave I mentioned I worked the first 17 years without calling in sick? Back they we acted like men.
Kids are calling in just to call in.I do the same can’t even front but if you’re so sick that you actually can’t work (I.e. vomiting every two seconds) I can see why a gentlemen would call in .
