Proposed Universal Policing Reforms

Maybe but it creates an atmosphere in which citizens do not fear the police but look to the police to protect them.

That is probably worth the fact that a few people actually get away with harming other people.
So it's worth letting criminals get away with dangerous crimes, as long as we placate the irrational fears of snowflake liberals.

What a load of bull :censored2:.

Over 90% of the time the Police are dealing with social issues such as a neighbors barking dog or the neighbor has their stereo up too loud or the neighbors kids are stealing the apples off my apple tree. Then there are the countless fender bender accidents and general disagreements that could be solved more effectively by someone not wearing body amour. This would clear up a lot of a police officers time so they could deal with the dangerous situations. That cop you want backing you up when kicking down a door may not be the best choice when dealing with a neighborhood disagreement.

Cool beans.
That literally has nothing to do with the conversation you jumped into though.

It happens today ... I seriously doubt the number of incidences would increase.
We hardly have a perfect infallible system today.
That is a very popular appeal to emotion without a basis in statistical facts. It's liberal nonsense.
Statistics say that only 60% of murders in the USA are solved with our current police efforts.

The national murder clearance rate – the calculation of cases that end with an arrest or identification of a suspect who can’t be apprehended – fell to 59.4 percent in 2016, the lowest since the FBI has tracked the issue.

And your suggestion is to make it even harder on police. Brilliant.

That is an example of a logical fallacy called False Dichotomy!

The false dilemma fallacy is often a manipulative tool designed to polarize the audience, heroicizing one side and demonizing the other. It’s common in political discourse as a way of strong-arming the public into supporting controversial legislation or policies.

Not at all.
You presented a list of things that would make it harder and more dangerous for police.
I presented a list of proposals to be considered in a rational discussion.
I personally don't agree with some of them.
Your previous post however was indeed an example of a False Dichotomy as you limited the possible outcomes to only one possible outcome when in reality there are many different combination of outcomes.

So your suggestion that cops not be allowed to follow people who run from them won't result in more crime...

.... and your suggestion that police knock on the door before serving a warrant on drug dealers known to have weapons, won't make it more dangerous for them.

Get real buddy.

Does the Federal government not endorse racial profiling when they ask your race? How about replacing race questions with one of, say, your emotional stability?
That should help the bleeding hearts identify their next crisis needing intervention.

Not my suggestions but ...
It would have prevented the fatal shooting of Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta and the consequent distrust of police, turmoil and destruction.

Nuff said!
