Damn...They are $100 here I think.

A goodly portion of which is because "upstate" came to workUPS made $14.27 billion last quarter. They can afford mapbooks.
And maybe a few new package cars and tape guns??
Is that the map on that paper stuff?UPS made $14.27 billion last quarter. They can afford mapbooks.
My state (depending on which county you live in) hands out concealed weapons permits like candy at Halloween. And if you can not carry concealed there is always the open carry option. As long as you are a white male who can speak good english you have to be given a permit to carry. And real guns for protection from the yo boys on the corner and the Jack boys in the housing project stairwells. Sadly my state is very harsh on conceal and carry laws. Almost impossible to obtain.
Its ridiculous that some people complain about buying a map book for a job when 99% of your uniform you don't even pay for unlike the rest of America that has to pay for clothes to wear to work but by God I make 90,000$ a year and I cant spend 75$ on a map book. smh
You make $80K+ and can't plunk down $20 (tax deductible) for a map book?
Why buy a map book when every smartphone has a map book built in it?
Work harder and dumber not smarter. Let us know how that works for you in the long run.I find I get paid even more without a map. I have no problem driving around until I find the street.
Ok. A billion in the quarter compared to roughly $20k that the average driver made...yeah, UPS can afford mapbooks. No they MADE about 1 billion.
Its considered a gift/bonus for tax purposes. You can write off tools but you only get that credit if it is higher than the standard deduction.I didn't think it was taxed. Because you can also wright off the cost of new tools for the job.
Yup....UPS can be quite unprofessional at timesToo make this kind of money, and not have a map screams unprofessional. Go buy a damn map if you don't have one.
Don't fret about a phone, I hear Obama hands them out personally. If ups bought everyone a map book that would be roughly 4.1 million. Not to mention all the air drivers. I don't expect a company that pays me way above the national average to provide me with a phone and map book.
Work longer and smarter... If a billion dollar company can't provide me with the tools to be productive (map book and/or phone) I will use the Columbus method...discover the street when I land on it. Driving in circles= fewer stops in my car.
Who is really working smarter?
