Republican Rewrite of US Taxcode

I'm quite certain any investment by Fedex will not result in increasing my compensation. The years of record profits haven't done that, don't see why this would.
It goes further than that. You got a tax cut and that means Fedex can rework what your business expenses should be and therefore recalculate what your contract is "worth".

I haven't found much info on what the pass though income changes are. I think it says the changes are for pass through income over $157k which won't make any difference to me. We'll see, I don't think these changes will result in a dramatic change. The tax code will be changed again before the middle class cuts expire.

I had that number wrong, it caps at $157k. Sounds like I'll get to not pay taxes on 20% of my profits every year. I'll take it, it's not going make me hire anyone else though.

It’s a good solid tax plan if you believe corporations won’t use the money to boost automating jobs. Especially with burger flippers and Walmart greeters demanding 15 dollars an hour. I also enjoy extra money in my pocket, but they’ll probably end up taking that back to balance the inevitable deficits. Let’s lower taxes then add on a trillion dollar infrastructure bill, and instead of repealing Obamacare let’s replace with another unfunded entitlement. People are calling this man the most conservative president since Ronald Reagan, shows you how under represented taking away power from the federal government is in people running for office, this isn’t conservatism, it’s more government spending with lower taxes that’ll inevitably be raised.

The nay sayers are against this , but where is their solution ?
I would go full conservative if you choose this path. I would cut taxes across the board for everyone, not attacking blue states etc. Then I would slash and burn Medicare, Stop federal grants and college loans, Medicaid, social security, Obamacare, public schools, planned parenthood, start taking away workers rights such as minimal wage “to compete with automation” and things like the EEOC and EPA to deregulate businesses. I mean if you are going to be a cold hearted conservative who doesn’t care about equality of opportunity that is a good place to start maga.

Do you know that the tax cuts under Kennedy, Reagan, and Bush didn't reduce gov't revenue at all? The problem was spending, not the tax cuts? All three actually helped business, and the resultant economic activity increased revenue. Unfortunately new ways to spend it were found.
