We had a 19'" black & white TV when we were first married in 1971-----and I remember using aluminum foil on the rabbit ears. Once again you are wrong.

the only color TVs were with the folks who could afford them.......tire builders (although union workers) had to watch the pennies. We even had a plastic sheet to put over your screen to give the appearance of color.The rest of the civilized world had long moved on to color TV's by then.
