I have 20+ years of safe driving awards. I recently opened 1 of them up and saw a small pin made of gold with 2 extremely tiny diamonds in it. Anyone here know much about what the value of something like that would be…..not it it’s current form, but like if I took 25 of these into an “I buy gold” shop….would I get $50 bucks for them or more like $400. I will probably just toss all these things….dont really know why I ever kept them in the first place.

I agree….cant really call them diamonds….I will probably pull them all out and take them to a place that buys gold just to see…..I would like to think they might be worth 5-10 a piece..

A few years ago I took a handful of old jewelry to the local gold dealer and got a few hundred bucks out of it. At that time I also showed him the safe driving pins with the diamond chips in them---he said they were worthless.
