But he's admitted to being a socialist. So no thanks.Sanders at least seems to legitimately support labor instead of just winking and nodding until the check's in the mail.

He is a socialist. He has admitted to being your "democratic socialist" and just a plain ole socialist. Either way that, HE, is not what this country needs.A democratic socialist

Income isn't supposed to be equal. It can't be because all jobs aren't equal. All employees arent equal. And all employers aren't equal. And many would argue that those ex presidents you claimed help pull us out of the depression actually prolonged it.I disagree brother. The level of income inequality in this country has reached utterly obscene levels and something drastically needs to change. We're basically in a similar state that we were in during the Great Depression, except the bottom never really fell out because the tax payers propped up the banks rather than letting them fail.
FDR was accused of many of the same things as Sanders, but he's generally credited with moving the economy in the right direction after he was elected. Quite frankly, if it weren't for FDR, this country probably would have undergone an incredibly violent socioeconomic revolution during the 1930's. Social Security is a hallmark of our society now and Medicare (created by LBJ, who rode the coat tails of "The New Deal" with his own "Great Society) is in the same boat.
We're the only "first world" industrial nation that doesn't offer universal health care. We're one of the few such nations that doesn't pay for people to go to college and the huge amount of debt saddling my generation (along with stagnant wages) is hamstringing the economy. I'm lucky enough that I have a good PT union job with good benefits that lets me do freelance work on the side so my $20k in student loans aren't so scary, but almost every one else I went to college with isn't so fortunate and that's keeping people from buying homes and making the economy move.

As Scott walker exists the presidential race ( the most anti-union politician in years) I find it abosulutly hilarious. The Koch brothers dropped him like a bad habit, when his polls dropped below 1%. Bon Voyage you union busting puppet.

The fact that he claims to be both should be more than enough to say HELL NO.You can't be both, he makes the distinction often and I would presume that anytime he simply calls himself a socialist is for brevity's sake.
I disagree, I think Bernie would be great for this country, but I'm not going to argue with you because
we're not going to change each others' minds.
Bernie is very far left of where I usually stand but I like him because I believe he is truly sincere in representing the middle class rather than corporate donors.
Scott Walker is a human piece of excrement. Now we have a guy named Tom Brinkman in Ohio. He announced he was bringing a bill to the house. http://www.cleveland.com/open/index.ssf/2015/09/right-to-work_bill_being_drawn.htmlAs Scott walker exists the presidential race ( the most anti-union politician in years) I find it abosulutly hilarious. People need to know that these GOP jerks want to break unions so we have to start over. They introduced right to work in the 40's and it's been an all out onslaught against labor ever since.
Congratulations to our brothers and sisters in Missouri for fighting RTW back last Thursday. God bless.
Democrats, minus their racism, used to be a respectable group. I would welcome them today but now socialist liberals have taken over the platform. So sad.For the record, some members of the Democratic Party were pretty happy to help pass Taft Hartley in Congress over Truman's veto.
Democrats in my state passed RTW here the same year they could do so via Taft Hartley's provisions in allowing individual states to pass RTW laws. Granted, these were "Southern Democrats" that (some) eventually became Southern Republicans during the political realignment after the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964 but they were still a vital part of the New Deal coalition that FDR had to bring together in order to pass his domestic programs.
Truman (D) vetoed it but then became the first president to use its powers to bust a railroad strike.
Both parties have been pretty happy to us throughout the last 70 years of US history. The Democrats are just courteous enough to grease us up first.
PS. Scott Walker should be launched into outerspace and never heard from again.

Hillary couldn't even answer any question that wasn't triple-blind focus group polled to find the blandest answer possible.
