Don't here, but you could elsewhere. Depends on what your contract states.

In my local you would receive top driver pay for the day for all hours worked. No need to scan any of the parcels.

It would help if you told us what region you are in. Here in the west if you are shuttling ground you get top rate.

If you are transferring ground packages you are to be paid full time driver rate.

Yes, however many don't file for it, bc them they would never get the extra work of shuttling pkgs
