You really need to.... get over yourself.I am truly honored.... to have an internet stalker.
The fund started when Hoffa got in. He didn't raise the dues. The formula changed on how the national got money from the locals for each member and how that was distributed. It was a change in the constitution, I believe. The funds were always listed in the back of the Teamster magazine as was every other expense and revenue.I can’t remember what year this happened but after the 1997 strike, people complained bc we only got $50 per week. A strike fund was created sometime soon after by raising everyone’s union dues. How can we find out how much money exists in that “strike fund”?
Does it really matter? UPS hourlies (the YES men) will never use it anyway. It will all go to smaller companies who aren't afraid to stand up for what is right.Any guesses on how much money will be in the strike fund by 2028 if they don’t raid it by then ?

Not "2.5X" everywhere. 3X in our local. But at least we have fat ass business agents that work half a day. Lol.There was a strike fund long before him.
They changed the dues structure from 2X your hourly rate to 2.5X in 2001 at the convention.
That.... and with better financial management from General Secretary Treasurer K Hall the strike fund
has been built to what it is today.
Yep.
You can look at the financials for the IBT or any Local, Joint Council, or Conference by looking at
the LM-2 reports.
