Public schools are purely socialist- taking from taxpayers to fund what should be the individual responsibility of parents. Just like roads take from everyone even though not everyone uses the, or the police dept, or fire department, or national Defense Department. It should be the individual responsibility to defend yourself when China invades. The Navy is very socialist- defending privately owned oil tankers and container cargo ships with tax dollars from the public. All of those are 'leftist' according to the right wing crazies. But to be clear, most people who whine about socialism aren't too bright to start with if they don't think we already have a large sector of our country that is and always has been socialist. The same idiots will tell you the constitution is against socialism, when the founders even included prominently, in the preamble, that the constitution was creating a government to 'provide for the general welfare" of the people. Provision of the general welfare by the government is pretty much the definition of socialism.

Trump presented witnesses in the first House impeachment but wasn't allowed to in the second. The impeachment process isn't a trial. That's what the Senate is for.

Exactly- which is why he didn't get witnesses in the house in the second impeachment. He had zero right to them. Witnesses were voted down in the senate by republicans, not democrats.

No, you convoluted my argument. Doesn't have to be big corporations but some do hire illegals. It drives down wages for citizens as well as takes away jobs from them. Give you an example. Back in I believe 2008 there was a Swift packing plant in the Texas panhandlers that got raided by INS. They were tipped off in advance and advertised for locals at higher pay and with benefits that they weren't offering the hundreds of illegals working there. Starting pay went from $8hr to $12.50hr if I remember right. Those illegals don't show up saying they're illegal. They show up with phony papers. Everyone knows they're illegal and turn a blind eye to it for cheap labor. This happens everywhere and cheats locals out of jobs in areas where it's tough to find work. Democrats are making a tactical area allowing so many to flood across right now. And you'll pay for it in 2022. I realize your sense of superiority won't allow you to admit that.

People like him get upset because schools have black history month and teach history the way it actually happened instead of the propagandistic faux patriotism that they taught until the past 15 years. And that's fair to those who immigrated legally how? I'm in favor of letting DACA kids stay because this is all they know. Otherwise if you broke the law entering illegally and getting phony papers you shouldn't get citizenship. If you claim you're seeking asylum and never show for your hearing you shouldn't get amnesty. There isn't really a way to get rid of all that are here but that wall should be completed to stem the tide.

No, it isn't. Services rendered for taxes paid. And one thing is for certain. You can't pay for all that without having a solid capitalist economy.

Both "trials" were ran by the senate, which was (R) controlled and it was in their best interest to sweep it under the rug as quickly as possible.

If you can argue that the Senate trials played out the way they did simply because of party affiliation, I can argue that the House impeachment votes played out they way they did for exactly the same reasons.
