Mandatory Sunday here. Preload starts at 1:00 am. Drivers at 8:35. We are four trailers behind due to winter storm. Guessing it'll be 99% residential only. No new NDA and no pickups. Going it's hours only and have no idea about the pay scale.

Sunday is double time here.

So, everyone in your building volunteered? I do not think so. If you're scheduled.....in reverse seniority order, you are being forced to work.

This is going to backfire ford UPS. A lot of drivers will call in on Sunday and you know how drives don't just call in for 1 day. They make it a 3-4 day affair. Not enough drives for the extra routes which means the regular routes will be blown out.

I have a 6AM flight out of here for 3 days of R&R with my family and fiancee. Spent over a grand on them. If he asks why I'm not present I'll be more than happy to explain why I'm not there.

We ran an operation today and our center manager announced corporate said Xmas will be mandatory for all management and they were hoping for hourlies to "volunteer".

I'm pretty sure if Atlanta says you're working, you are. Or people will not have management jobs to come back to. I've never heard my center manager sound more pissed off then today. I had 5 hours available. I spent 4 dumping bulk stops.

I won't be volunteering for Xmas. Our BA and steward made it clear they can't "force" us or discipline us for refusing to work it.

Rumor has it some major air and extra flights have been added last minute. Apparently they are pushing 2nd and 3 day as nda in the network.

I'm fully expecting 4, 14 hour days this week. Whatd'ya gonna do. It is what it is. I'll enjoy a nice 3 day weekend and a 4 day weekend the following week
