Sunday Delivery Roll Out

Well, the teams met in Atlanta on Monday. Essentially, we have a 3 month timeframe to put Sunday delivery in place. Meanwhile, Saturday isn’t right and corporate pillaged the districts for this rollout right before peak. It baffles me why we didn’t announce 7 day until January 2020. I get we need to be aggressive, but we are at the height of peak planning! What’s everyone’s consensus?

Have you heard if they are planning to do twilight sorts in centers on Sat. or Sun. as part of the 7 day delivery coming in 2020?

It’s a pretty fluid situation, but I’d imagine some sort of recovery operation similar to Saturday operations to to get Sunday pickups in the network for Monday delivery.
