Withholding. Withholding is not the same thing as your effective rate. You never lose money by working more.

You lose nothing.

That's not taxation.

That's withholding.

That’s why you never work more than 5 hours OT a week. Anything more than that is $.25 on the dollar.

Overtime is taxed at the exact same rate as all other labor.

The IRS makes no distinction at all.
