Mixon isn't a supporter and he is on thereAre you trying to say that the IBT website is NOT just a cheerleading website for Hoffa/Hall and their supporters??
Sounds like Republicans.I was a member until I found out was going on. according to these people the IBT can not do ANYTHING right.
really? everything the IBT is wrong? granted the IBT is not perfect. no organization is. and it needs some very important changes.
why doesn't the TDU work WITH the IBT to effect some real changes instead of going to war with them where no one wins?
TDU stands for Teamsters for a Democratic Union. It is an organization made up of, by and for Teamster members. Its object is to strengthen our union from within by building a unified movement of rank and file Teamsters to fight for rank and file rights on the job as well as in the union. What's TDU stand for?
Cheerleading? Not at all.Are you trying to say that the IBT website is NOT just a cheerleading website for Hoffa/Hall and their supporters??

It is a place to go for information about our International that our IBT deems embarrassing or inconvenient. It has a point of view and does not run from it. It survives by the members giving a few bucks a year. And yes we even tolerate a fundraising letter here and there. The Horror!!
ARE they serious?
Dear ...........
TDU is the #1 source for members looking for information, education and organizing resources for taking back our union and rebuilding Teamster power—and we'll continue to be as we head into the 2016 election.
To meet rising demand, TDU has launched a new website with more information and new features—all integrated with TDU’s social media and online organizing campaigns.
The new website will up TDU’s organizing game—but it comes at a price. It cost $10,000 to build the new website and upgrade our database of members and supporters.
Can you donate $5 to help us cover the cost of this project?
It's worth every penny. With the new website, TDU’s facebook, Twitter, online campaigns and database are fully integrated, allowing our staff to spend less time entering data and more time out on the road, organizing members.
Our new communication systems will allow us to easily reach tens of thousands of members and supporters. The new website is smart-phone friendly too.
Stay Tuned!
And we're not done yet—we are updating our industry and educational resources. We’re preparing phase 2 of our new website rollout which will include more educational and organizing resources, industry pages, online access to Teamster Voice archives and more.
Can you help us get to the finish line with a $5 donation today?
In solidarity,
