Nope.

In the past, we got our paychecks on Wed the week of Thanksgiving. This is a different year. Might be different, might not. With UPS, you never really know for sure until it happens.

I just went to upsers to make sure and I was right.

Last year our November paychecks were dated 11/4, 11/10, 11/18 and 11/25. I don't know they were dated 11/10 instead of 11/11.

Must have been as I had two paychecks (vacation and regular) and they were both dated 11/10.

This is why you have direct deposit. I never have a paycheck question or issue because of that.

true but when you sometimes have to live paycheck to paycheck it matters.

But that has nothing to do with having direct deposit except that it's one more reason to have it. If you absolutely need your check each week, having direct deposit guarantees it'll be in your account at least very early Friday morning. People who don't, sometimes deal with their physical checks not being on time or having some other type of issue.

Fair point. But in IE making crap up was not so much a necessity to make it through the day as it was an ingrained way of life. Subtle yet significant difference.
