I have actually had a fairly easy Peak so far. I got 43 hours in last week working five days. I did work today for seven hours. My route has been missing anywhere from 40-57 packages a day since our Preload is so screwed up. We did have a few Corporate people working Preload today. The big people weren’t there though. Thankfully my golf cart helper showed up. I was only missing 41 packages off my car today. My Preloader/Helper got 80 hours last week, he kept nodding out today. Rain in the forecast next week, should be fun.

I have heard that one of our yard guys got 110 hours recently. A few are working all they can for the OT, if you show up there is something to do. And somebody almost got killed and it’s hushed up.

24 * 7 = 168

168 - 110 = 58

58/7 = 8.3 hours of down time per day.

I fully understand taking advantage of the money making opportunity provided by Peak but there has to be a balance between work and life.
