78' was the only storm my parents hired someone to plow our driveway.
Chest deep on me. Fun memory.
We buried my mother during the storm. When we walked into the church there were just a few flakes falling. 45 minutes later when we got out there was about 2 inches on the ground. The graveside service was the fastest I ever experienced. My oldest sister had to head west to Plattsburgh AFB. Their drive was uneventful as the storm didn't track that far west. My other sister had to fly to California. She was stuck for a few days.
