I don't see the conflict. Police use is the hardest to navigate. We want police to keep the peace, but how is that possible when protesters are as well armed as the Nazis this weekend?
How do police keep BLM protesters in line when they are protesting police brutality and intentionally provoking police to get a violent reaction?
I'm not a fan of the new militarized police on principle, I wish it wasn't believed to be necessary. I'd rather protest leaders control their own members and keep violence out of the discussions.

The left wants to now claim that they aren't the violent protestors when it is undeniable that leftist protesting and violence is synonymous. The white supremacists are despicable human beings but does this give Antifa and the rest license to go at it violently with them on the streets? No. BOTH sides are too blame. I swear you just read everything wrong all the time. I've been saying all along that it was both sides and it was. I guess leftist brains do operate differently. Seriously though, the left and right do actually process language entirely different. In general, the left processes language in an emotional manner, the right uses reasoning and logic.The left strives for an ideal that can't exist (utopian paradise), the right sees that the best society in human history was created because of our founding principals that have been proven simply by comparing societies The left only sees what is wrong with our country where most people are victims (except white men) and emotional arguments are made to persuade people to support non-american systems that have never worked.

OK. Violence always occurs when leftest protesters gather. I'll be fair and correct that with 90% of the time.
In the case of Saturday, they became violent with another group. Did they not? Bottom line, there wouldn't have been violence without them. I'm just speaking facts as if this is a court of law. As far as I know the supremacists weren't beating each other up.

Although I wind up agreeing/supporting the left except for fiscal issues, I normally react to the 'rightest' point of view because I extremely abhor any emotional based argument.
The lefties on here remind me of my meathead wife.
That's probably why I lash out at the lefties too.

This is a silly argument to make. Placing blame on the victims of violence because without them violence wouldn't have happened. Any rapist could use the same "logic" and blame women for existing for their rape.

The only victims Saturday were those effected by the nut job who rammed his car in the crowd. All other violence was a 2 way street.
You also can't take that action and direct it to every other supremacist, as bad as they are.
You're really going to sit there and say that people that show up to an existing protest with clubs and helmets and masks are "victims"?
That's like labeling a soldier in war a "victim". No, it's war.

The top 2 sources were politifact and WaPo, figured politifact would be less controversial.
I'm amused that Trump claimed he was waiting for all the facts before commenting and proceeded to make a false claim about permits. I guess it doesn't matter since his supporters apparently still believe him.
