Thug Life At The Oscars

I'd like to know what the men in this forum would have done in the same situation.
Would you have laughed at your wife along with the comedian?
Would you have written a strongly worded letter to the Oscar Commission the next day?
Or would you have punched that idiot in the face?

Any woman reading this thread?
Would you want your husband to sit there laughing at you in front of a thousand people?
If it was my husband, I would’ve been pissed at him for embarrassing me worse than the joke. Chris Rock is a comedian. He tells jokes. You’re not always going to like every joke a comedian tells. Who even knew if CR was aware of Jada’s alopecia issue? I believe the high road is always the best road, but that’s just me.

Legally the police should arrest Smith. Rock not filling a report has nothing to do with it.

. “Legally, the LAPD witnessed an assault and battery. Whether they saw it happen in real-time or a few moments later on tape, they should have arrested Smith,” Solomon concludes.

I love a good public bitch slap. But you don’t stick around afterwards and you certainly don’t get on stage to let the world see you cry over it.

You lose the whole pro bitch slapping Chris Rock crowd when you do that.

Him crying over it is more reason for the cops to arrest him. He admits his crime

If Jade, Jada whoever had slapped Mr Rock over his insults, should she have been arrested?

It boggles my mind that so many of you are defending that piece of crap comedian.

I bet it was staged. THE number one mantra, in comedy, is that anything goes and if you are offended by a bit, no matter what the reason may be, it's your fault that you find offense. There are no exceptions to this rule among comedians. I bet it comes out that it was a fake. Why else would someone stand there after being slapped PLIS, if it was real, I feel like the hit was delivered hard enough to make him fall back and, most likely, down.

Other than that I wish every one of these liberal puke buckets would go away. Anyone watching that show is brain damaged imo.
It's not just about two very wealthy actors getting in a scrum . It's about an outdated, boring, self serving ceremony from which the public has long since moved on.

The problem is whether it's streaming, broadcast TV, theatre only or direct to video you still have the same 8 or 10 basic plots which they keep trying to reengineer and shim up over and over again resulting in the creation of an audience increasingly numb and indifferent.
