My building really needs an upgrade. The new small sort went live last week, and so far, from what I hear, it's been a disaster. Daily staffing plan increased by 1.5x for each shift. The only thing that they seem to have achieved is keeping the belt running more often, and the small sort goes down earlier...which is good. But if they were trying to eliminate jobs up there, they failed miserably.
I heard from my trainer last year that there were plans to upgrade this building within 5 years, but I haven't heard anything else about that ever since. I don't know how many more peaks this place will make it through in its current state.
