UPS driver killed in hit-&-run 5/27

All I could find was that the driver was from Abilene, Texas, about 3 hours west of the Mesquite hub.

A quick Google search showed that the name has not been released as yet.

They think he may have become ill and pulled over to the side of the road to vomit as there was vomit on the side of the tractor.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure I'll know him. So sorry something like this has happened. I hope they find the person that did this and prosecute to the fullest.

Looks like another driver came up on the accident. He also discovered some vomit on the side of the road and thinks that the driver may have been sick and got out of the truck and things went very bad. Bummer! If you haven't ever blown chunks on the side of the road, give it time, you will!

I found this info out from a co-worker of mine. The driver who was killed was originally from the Amarillo, Texas building. They moved all their feeder jobs to other cities. This driver followed his job to Fort Worth. Fort Worth went to all CPU runs, so he bid to the new Independence Hub, also in Forth Worth, since they had a lot of feeder runs out of there. RIP, brother.
