I don't see anybody on here complaining. All I see are hard-working folks who busted their a** and now they want their retirement payouts. That's what I see. Any plenty of us are off to better jobs now that we don't have to wear that brown outfit. I'm actually happy because I can wear stylish suits and high heels to work everyday. We are not here to brag about our dividend checks, we are not here to brag about our pension checks, we are here to discuss similar issues (or issues in kind) and the particular issue at hand is our pension payout that we've been waiting for so that we can go on with our lives and enjoy our holidays with our friends and families.

I applaud those whom are still employed by the "Great Brown Hope"...good for you. But newsflash - there are higher paying jobs and superb (very sound) pension plans than those offered by UPS. Yes, working for UPS is a highly coveted position, but thank God it's not the only high paying job in the universe!!!!

Why does it seem everyone's worried about what anyone spends I guess it's the only job that pays out your retirement you can't have another 401 pension from another career if you didn't take the pay out good for you let everyone else deal with whatever comes stop hating this is for whom ever has a problem with the payout you don't have to pay my taxes or bills so shut the up please and thank you

I can't believe people fall for this crap. Get a few thousand up front and give up 10's of thousands down the road. Not even counting the tax consequences.

After 3 heart attacks, 4 stents, and a pacemaker from all the stress, I don't believe I would make it to those 10's of thousands.. have to pay Uncle Obama his cut and live with what I get

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of work are you doing now?

Product Support at Boeing, they killed their pension plan for new-hires in 2011. Boeing also quit making contributions and closed the pension for everyone last year, but they are adding a few percent each year to the 401K plans for us old-timers. I was not counting on this buyout, but it is going to be a great supplement!

If anyone got their checks please post. I received an email from BNY Mellon saying check was mailed on the 15th. When I called they told me it was mailed the day before so they were wrong. Mail ran today and no check.

My 9 years at UPS were spent mainly as a Supervisor on the preload. I had to move out of state and could not transfer . I applied here during peak but HR manager

Try calling 1-800-634-7936 option 7 ask them if they can verify when your check was sent. I called they said the 14th, got an email saying my check went out in the mail on the 15th.
